| Volunteers are the spirit and essence of hospice. Without our volunteers we could not begin to provide the services that we do nor could we provide these services in a compassionate manner. Our volunteers must all take our 30 hour training Level 1 Hospice Palliative Care Course in order to volunteer with families and with individuals with a life-limiting illness. |

| Our volunteers are caring, compassionate individuals who understand the need for support during grief and loss. They respect all beliefs, cultures, privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance. |
