Camp Skylark is open to children who have had a loss in their lives due to a death.

Camp Skylark is designed for children ages 7-12 who are grieving. Our model at the camp is to include activities that are traditional camp acitivites such as rock climbing, hiking, and arts crafts as well as activities that focus on grief and loss.

All activities and the entire camp program is sensitive to all cultures and allows the child to make choices about how they wish to express their feelings. We believe that each child is an individual and grieves in their own way and our role at camp is to be there and offer activities and opportunties for grief to be shared among their peers.

Camp Skylark is on Sept 14-16, 2012 at Camp Squeah. For all returning volunteers, please contact us if you are interested in participating again this year.
